After settling in and chatting at the table, Ms. Kida showed me to my room. It was so nice and cozy! The sweetest thing was Ms. Kida stocked up on drinks and snacks for me. I relaxed upstairs (worked on my blog) while Ms. Kida started on dinner. This meal was amazing and so beautifully presented. It was so nice to have a home cooked me.
Dr. Kida drove us into the city so that I could drop off my bags before we set out on our next adventure. The next stop was some pampering. I got a scalp treatment and a head massage. I highly suggest everyone get one!

When our tea was done Ms. Kida asked if I would like to try on a kimono. Of course I said yes! Please ignore my appearance, I was quite exhausted after hanging out with some 4th graders. However, please don’t ignore how stunning the kimono is.
I have learned that Japan eggs hit different. They are so yummy!
After dinner Ms. Kida set up the most amazing bath, which was perfect because my body was feeling tired. Then it was time for me to go to bed. The next morning Ms. Kida made yet another fantastic meal and this time I got to share it with both Dr. Kida and Ms. Kida. Ms. Kida was kind enough to walk me to the location where we had the Lawrence reunion. It was so cool to see familiar faces and catch up with students I haven’t seen in years. Everyone was so grateful to have the opportunity to get together. Now, if you know me I am quite an awkward person and I am terrible at small (I am no Jon Weinberger) but I’m pretty proud of myself there were A LOT of people there and I thought I did pretty okay!
A student shared this little blast from the past!
